Nicki & Wendell

I've known Nicki for years, back to highschool days. She's also my sister-in-law's cousin, and thus I was a natural fit to document her and Wendell's big day. Many warn not to shoot weddings for friends, but I disagree. Shooting a wedding can be a very intimate experience so any existing connection is hugely beneficial. Couples are putting all their trust in you to document one of the most important days of their lives while also creating beautiful imagery that will stay with them forever. These photos will be passed down to grandchildren to remember the legacy of the family - the photos should be representative of who the couple is at this point in time. These images aren't just for Nicki & Wendell, they're for all future generations of their family.
